Alternative Medicine Alternative medicine is used in place of conventional medicine. Alternative medical systems are built upon complete systems of theory and practice. Examples of alternative medical systems include homeopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine, Chinese medicine, and Ayurveda. It can also refer to any experimental drug or non-drug technique that is not currently accepted by conventional medical practitioners. |
