Amma Therapy Amma therapy is a Chinese massage which involves stretching, kneading, stroking, and percussion. It is an integrative form of massage therapy that combines Oriental Medical principles based on the balance and flow of energy with a Western approach for assessing organ dysfunction such as blood tests, MRI, and others. Treatment can also include the use of dietary therapy, herbs, nutritional supplements and the external application of herbal preparations. In early Chinese history this therapy was primarily practiced by the blind. |
