Essential Oil Essential oils are very light, non-greasy. They either quickly evaporate or absorb readily into the skin. Essential oils are products of the secondary metabolism of plants. They are generally fragrant, volatile materials. Essential oils are used in aromatherapy, cosmetics, perfumery, pharmaceuticals and many other applications. These oils are geared more towards enhancing and maintaining health than curing diseases. |
