Recipes for Metal Cleaners and Polishes
- 2 T salt
- 2 T flour
- A small amount of vinegar.
Clean withrubbing alcohol with hot water.
Rub with whiteflour in a damp rag.
Make a dampmixture of fine table salt, vinegar, and lemon juice.
Rub copper with this mixture.
Tarnished copper is quite attractive to manypeople.
Silver Polish #1
- 1 quart warm water
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 small piece of aluminum foil
Soak silver in mixture.
Rub toothpasteon silver, then allow to dry before rinsing off with warm water..
