Mike O’s Recipe for HealthyChili Irving, TX
|8 ounces meatless "ground meat"
14 ounce can tomato puree
1 cup chopped, frozen bell peppers
1-3/4 ounce package chili seasoning
1/2 cup water
15 ounce can of kidney, black, or navy beans; do not drain beans.
|Combine all ingredients in sauce pan. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat. Simmer for 10-12 minutes stirring occasionally.
Both Morningstar Farms and Green Giant make a meatless "ground meat."You will find this in the frozen foods section of your supermarket along with frozen,chopped bell peppers.
