Recipe: Tofu brownies
CyberParents’ Recipe Tofu Brownies
|1.25 cups cake flour or unbleached all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
12 oz. pkg. silken tofu, firm
3/4 cup sweetener of your choice.
|Grease bottom/sides of 8×8" pan with canola oil.
Mix dry ingredients except sweetener, cocoa, then set aside.
In blender or food processor, blend wet ingredients. Add cocoa and sweetener; process until smooth. Add dry mixture all at once. Blend just until all dry ingredients are moistened.
Spread evenly into prepared pan. Bake in preheated 325 F oven for 20 minutes, or until brownies spring back when touched lightly in center.
Let cool in pan for 15 minutes. before turning out on cooling rack. Cool completely, then cut into squares.
