Practical Green Renovations forEnergy Efficiency
The TaxIncentives Green Starts with Energy Efficient
Another comforting thought now is the tax incentives that are available for energy-efficient remodels.
Tax incentives come and go. And they are scheduled to expire at certain points, then get renewed. The best accountant probably has trouble keeping up with them.
Yet they are very important to anyone planning an energy-efficient remodel.
Look to your energy consultant or accountant to give up an updated version of tax incentives.
Renewable Energy Incentive
More than a few of us were waiting for a tax incentive for installing renewable energy. We were hoping the feds would do it.
They did it!!
For those of us who are the proactive types and who are also planning a home remodeling project, now just might be the best time to bite the renewable bullet.
But remember this: The renewable energy tax incentives have a long expiration date. It is probably safe to make your home energy-efficient first–just keep an eye on sudden moves by Congress..
Have a plan and work that plan, keeping in mind that some opportunities are too good to miss.
