What is cosmetic remodeling? It is painting, a new kitchen, or remodeling a bathroom. What is energy remodeling? It is the right renovations to make a home energy-efficient. If you have the money for both, it costs a bit less to do them together. However, if you only have the money for one.... We think homes should start with energy remodeling. Why? Energy remodeling lowers your utility bills. The money you save from these reduced charges can pay for the cosmetic renovations. Or you can do them together and increase your mortgage to pay for part of the remodel. The utility savings will pay a portion of the increased mortgage payments.
