Halloween: Orange and Black Raisin/Carrot Salad

Halloween black and orange salad recipe: Grated carrots and raisins tossed with agave nectar/lemon dressing.

Carrot and Raisin Salad

2 cups carrots, grated
1 lemon, squeezed
2 T agave nectar
1 T olive or canola oil
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. all spice seasoning
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 cup raisins, plumped

Plump raisins in water for at least 2 hours. Grate carrots. 

Combine lemon juice, agave nectar, oil, and all seasonings. Mix well. 

Pour over carrot and raisins and toss. 

Serve chilled.
