Kids Games: Car counting games are appropriate for several ages.

Easy Games: Kids must find the number 1 through 15 or 1 through 20 in order. These numbers are found on the license plates of passing cars, bill boards, street signs, etc.

As a player spots a number, he/she must call it out.

The first person to get to 15 or 20 wins.

More Difficult Games: Make the game a little more difficult by allowing each player to only use one number from each sign or license plate.

You can also make it more difficult by having the game players count backwards.

If there is considerable age difference between players,  it also evens the game field to have the older player count backwards.

Most Difficult Games: Have older kids use their math. Each player must add or subtract to get a number. For example: a street sign is 4600 Main Street. The child needing 10 in the game could add 4 + 6 while the child who needs 2 could subtract 4 from 6.

The game players must call out their math.

Go one step further and have kids use multiplication and division to play this game.

Alphabet Game: Kids must find the letters of the alphabet in order.

Word Game: Kids must find a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet and write the word on their list. Use the order of the alphabet for the words of this game.

Alphabet games can be made more difficult by using the alphabet backwards. However, it is hard to find "z" and "x" so this might discourage some game players.
