Men with Impotence or Erectile Dysfunciton Affect Women, Too |
|
By Rob McLean |
Men and women are affected by erectile dysfunction or impotence. it even affects the dating scene. For the Male of Today: From CyberParent |
Erectile dysfunction, also known as ED
or impotence, can be an
enormous problem for many men.
However, few of us men consider that ED can also be a problem for women. I talked to a few who had experienced erectile dysfunction in a partner. Their reactions ranged from embarrassment for the man, to thinking the whole thing was their fault, to deciding the man was just "too old." One lady decided she was doing something "wrong," and then decided she was undesirable to the man involved. Most were totally clueless as to how to act and one admitted she laughed out of embarrassment and general lack of knowledge. Hey, lady, laughing does not help! It is also rarely, if ever, because the lady is doing something
wrong or are unattractive.
About age: Erectile dysfunction is not a symptom of age. It is a symptom of disease or medicines related to disease. Although the diseases could be age-related or even diet-related, it is not a natural progression of age in a reasonably healthy male. In other words, men don't just wear it out. |
