The rainforest is
home to native people and tribes.
These natives understand the jungle. They
have lived there for thousands of years without hurting the forest. They respect and love
its plants and animals.
Some grow their food in small clearings.
Others fish or gather their foods. Even children help by climbing trees and vines to
gather fruits and nuts to eat.
