Glossary

Electricity is a naturally occurring force that exists all around us. It has been in human consciousness forever, both as static electricity and lightning; although it is only in recent history that man has been able to harness electricity to do his work.

There is no one definition of electricity, nor can there ever be. However, a general understanding of electricity and the difference between alternating current and direct current will be helpful in dealing with renewable energy.
