Time: 10 am – 12 noon.This follows an optional tour of the Coppell Farmer’s Market with a talk aboutCSAs. And it proceeds optional lunch Healthy Me Art Cafe in Coppell to visitwith fellow students and learn more about the ecovillage forming just east ofDallas.

Where:150 E Beltline Rd, Coppell,75019. The church is a brick building (no steeple) behind a service station,almost on the corner of Beltline and Denton Tap Roads. It gets tricky herebecause the church is on East Beltline and there is construction here. Do nottake the detour to East Beltline. Instead, cross over East Beltline andturn right just past the service station. We will be upstairs in room 208. Comein the front and go to the right and up the stairs and it is the room with thewindows. Park on the side that is closest to Beltline because there will be manycars there attending a funeral. Students Bring: Size I hook and 100% cotton yarn, worsted weight. If youlet us know in advance (use the message section of the RSVP form here) theinstructor will have the needle and yarn available for $5.00.
Class: You will be taught basic crochet principles and then actually make awashcloth.

Sat, Jun 18 – Tour Coppell Farmers’ Market, buy some farmgoodies, and hear John of Comeback Creek Farm on Community SupportedAgriculture (CSA). Meet at the tent in the front of the market at 8:45 am,stopping to buy a breakfast muffin if you like. About 9:15 or so, John willspeak to us about CSAs in general, how he became a farmer, and his CSA inparticular. We will be at the market about an hour. It opens at 8 am if you wanta head start. Coppell Farmers’Market is located in Old Town Coppell at 455Bethel Rd by SouthCoppell Road, easily accessible from 121 (take Bass Pro exit) and fromLBJFwy (take Beltline exit).
