Time: 8:45 am – 9:45am.The market opens at 8 am if you want to get an early start.
What: We will meet atthe tent at the front of the market and walk through the market to see what isthere. In addition to local farm fresh produce and other farm goodies, you can buyeverything from fresh bread to fresh doggie biscuits and from muffins toflowers. There are always somefarmers there who grow food using organic methods such as Comeback Creek (aswell as that other kind of farmer).
Community SupportedAgriculture (CSA): About 9:15 or so, John,of Comeback Creek Farm will talk to us about CSAs in general, how he gotstarted as a farmer, and his Comeback Creek CSA in particular.
This is followed by an optionalneedle skills class on basic crochet which is followed by an optional lunch atHealthy Me Art Cafe in Coppell to visit with fellow students and learn moreabout the ecovillage forming just east of Dallas.
