Yep, there is no doubt that TXU or one of its retail electric cronies is in the driver’s seat. It’s a monthly race than ends with your pocketbook!
Much as we might want to save money on our utility bills and live in a healthy, green home, most of us can not move to a new, energy-efficient home. And even if we could move, our planet can not afford the resources and embodied energy needed to build everyone a new home or apartment.
It is immensely more green to remodel than it is to move to a new home…..
